During the week of LetterWorks, the 36th International Lettering Arts Conference at Weber State University, the public is invited to participate in the following conference events:

SUNDAY, JUNE 25
1 – 5pm
Come view the remarkable 7-volume set of the Heritage Edition of the Saint John’s Bible and visit with the director of the Heritage Foundation in the Shepherd Union Mezzanine.

7:30pm
Keynote address by Diane von Arx, artist, calligrapher, illuminator on the Saint John’s Bible artistic team with specific responsibility for the Honor Volume in the Shepherd Union Ballroom.

MONDAY and TUESDAY, JUNE 26 – 27
8am – 9pm Monday
8am – 5pm Tuesday
We recommend 9am – noon & 1:30 – 5 when conference participants are in class.
Shop at the conference Vendor Days. Vendors from Utah and around the country will be selling a variety of merchandise of particular interest to book artists and calligraphers in the Shepherd Union Mezzanine.

While at Vendor Days, be sure and visit the conference stores of John Neal Bookseller and Paper and Ink Arts – a rare opportunity to shop for, and in some cases try out, items you can usually only get online.

Attend an evening presentation, Calligraphic Gems in Genealogy by Susan Keyes, Canadian calligrapher and genealogist, in the Shepherd Union Ballroom

*View world-class calligraphic art at the conference faculty art exhibit in the Shepherd Union art gallery on the main floor (see signs for directions) and at the participants exhibit in Ballroom B.
